Prolific fast-rising gospel music minstrel and songwriter, Edith Maafo, has released audiovisuals for ‘I Overcome’ off her debut album, ‘Bigger Better Greater’.
The words of the song are very encouraging and speak to those going through strife and immense pressure.
“I Overcome” is the second track on her outstanding debut Album “Bigger Better Greater” which is currently getting very good reviews in Ghana
“I Overcome” is also a declaration song, that revitalises our hope in times of challenges which appear to overwhelm us atimes.
The song charges us to look to Jesus in the midst of challleges and strife and to draw on the unwavering assurance of the word of God that we shall Overcome! -Isisah 43:2.
The words of the song iterate that even though the mountains, storms and the attacks of the enemy threatens us, we shall Overcome in Jesus’ name and by the blood of the lamb.
This song like all the songs on the album has a powerful message and reaffirms Edith Maafo as a consummate song writer and gospel minister.
The video directed by award winning film director Kofi Awuah is awesome with spectacular scenes of mountains, valleys and waterfalls and really carries the message of hope across.
